Close Workspace

Close Workspace provides tools to manage and monitor the period-end close process, including task assignment, notifications, and progress tracking.

Why it matters

Accountants and controllers can use Close Workspace to gain real-time visibility into the close process, track task statuses and assignees, and ensure deadlines are met. This helps streamline the closing cycle and improve accuracy.

When you use it

Notifications can be delivered via insights in the Copilot panel or through email.
Available notification types include approaching deadline alerts, overdue/at-risk task notifications, daily summaries, and completion updates.
Three roles exist within Close Workspace: Checklist Owner, Task Owner, and Task Assignee, each with specific responsibilities.
Checklist templates contain tasks needed to close a period, including system-generated and custom templates.
