Multi-Entity

Consolidation

Consolidation refers to the management of multiple legal entities within Sage Intacct. It enables organizations to view and report on financial data across their entire group.

Why it matters

Accountants and controllers using multi-entity companies need consolidation to gain a unified view of organizational performance, manage 1099 forms appropriately, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Guidelines exist for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other areas within this structure.

When you use it

  • Sage Intacct supports managing multiple entities.
  • Printing 1099 forms can occur from either the top level or an individual entity.
  • Accounts Payable processes have specific guidelines when operating in a multi-entity environment.
  • Accounts Receivable has exceptions to be aware of when used across multiple entities.
